Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a list of commonly asked questions. Check here to see if any of your questions can be addressed before you email us:-)

1. Do you have a Physical Shop or Outlet?

Unfortunately, we don't have a physical shop.  We sell exclusively on-line to keep our prices LOW so we can pass the savings to our customers.

2. What Payment Options are Available?

We accept on-line banking for Australian Bank Accounts. We also accept Paypal payments.  All major credit cards are accepted. You can select the Paypal option or select the 2checkout Option for safe, encrypted credit card payment processing.

3. I'm not sure what Size to Select?

There are 2 Categories Available - Clothing for Pregnancy & Nursing; Clothing for Nursing Only

Clothing for Maternity (pregnancy) is cut a little larger so if you are wearing this for Nursing, go down ONE SIZE.

Nursing Clothing is cut like "normal-sized" Women's Wear with a little extra room on the bust.

If are still not sure ( dont worry, our body has changed so much - its hard to know what size we are!),

please refer to our SIZE GUIDE to help you take measurements to ensure we select the correct size.

If you are between sizes, and need more help, just email us your measurements for a recommendation on Size Selection.

4. I think I need a larger size. Can I exchange the size?

Yes, you can exchange sizes. Just notify us by email and send it back to us within 10 days. Remember to include a 500gram prepaid satchel so we can use it to send you the exchange item. For more information - see our RETURN EXCHANGE POLICY

5. Are all your deisgns original?

Thats right! All our designs are original and exclusive to Modern Mummy Maternity. You cannot find these designs elsewhere (unless they are our wholesale client:-).

From the fabric selection, pattern cutting and sewing - we oversee it all to make sure our standard is maintained.

6. Does Modern Mummy Maternity ever have a SALE?

Unfortunately we don't have much of Sale:-(  We try to keep our Prices LOW from the Start so Moms can make their orders without waiting for a Sale.

Babies come as they please so we shouldn't need to wait!

7. Does Modern Mummy Maternity sell wholesale?

We sure do! If you currently have physical shop and would like to stock some Modern Mummy designs, we will be happy to chat with you. Email our wholesale enquiry to modernmommy@gmail.com

Delivery Information

Delivery Within Australia

All orders are processed with 24-48 hours. You will receive a Delivery Notification once your item has been dispatched.

We generally use Australia Post prepaid satchels so you will receive a tracking number with your parcel.

Parcels can be tracked on-line at  www.auspost.com.au

Here are the general time frames according to Australia Post for Parcel Post delivery:

  • To VIC, NSW, SA - Approx. 3-5 days
  • To QLD, WA, NT, TAS - Approx. 7-10 days
  • If you live in Regional Country Locations, an Additional 3-5 days for Country Mail Service

Express Service is available. Just pay an additional $8.00 for URGENT Express Delivery and send us an Email to REQUEST this Service.



All orders are processed with 24-48 hours. You will receive a Delivery Notification once your item has been dispatched.

We use Australia Post and DHL Global Mail. All parcels are sent by REGISTERED MAIL so you will receive a tracking number with your parcel.

International Shipping Charges are a FLAT RATE of AUD $15.00

  • Canada - 15-18 business days (approx 3-4 weeks) Visit www.canadapost.conm for tracking information
  • UK - 7-12 business days (approx 2 weeks) Visit www.royalmail.com for tracking information
  • Other International Destinations can search tracking info from their local postal website
