Policy for Exchange and Returned Items Purchased Online
Items must be returned in their ORIGINAL PACKAGING and CONDITION (tags attached, unwashed, NO perfume smells or odours and unworn).
To be eligible for an exchange or refund, please email us to notify us of your request and return the item within 14 days of the invoice date. Refunds will incur an ADMIN FEE of $3.00 per item to pay for the cost of repacking and restocking the item.
Discounted items are final sales and are not eligible for exchanges or refunds.
VALUE PACKAGES - For items purchased as part of the Value Package Promotion, exchange of items are permissable so long as the customer pays the postage to facilitate the exchange. Requests to Return & REFUND of items will incur a ADMIN FEE and the postage charge incurred as part of the original shipment will be deducted from the refund balance.
How do I Exchange an Item?
Please inform us via email which items you want to exchange. You need to include a self-addressed EXPRESS POST Satchel for us to send you the Exchanged item. Send all packages to: c/o-Julie - Returns & Exchanges Modern Mummy PO BOX 5291, Cairnlea VICTORIA 3023, AUSTRALIA
Please be sure to pack your items carefully for shipment, as we are not responsible for any items damaged or lost. For international customers, please send your package via an insured, traceable method to ensure a safe and documented delivery. Remember to include a copy of your invoice and the name of the item you wish to exchange.
Who Pays for the Postal/Shipping Charges Incurred for Exchanges or Refunds?
All customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We regret to inform that postage and delivery charges will not be refunded as they are a cost already incurred by us.
For exchanges within Australia, we prefer customers to return the item and include a self-addressed prepaid or express post satchel to facilitate the delivery. Otherwise a $8.00 fee will be charged.
For international customers, the fee will be $10-$15 depending on the garment type. Refer to shipping charges guide.
Incorrect Orders
If we send you the wrong order, we will immediately send you the correct item and include a prepaid satchel for you to return the incorrect item.
Returns
Returns are only approved in special circumstances. If you are eligible for a refund, an ADMIN FEE of $3.00 will be charged PER ITEM, as this covers the job of inspecting the returned item, repacking and restocking the item. You will also need to pay for the postage of returning the item. The POSTAGE COST of sending you the parcel will be deducted from the REFUND BALANCE.
